Grade 3 Al 2.5 % V, EN 3 438.Grade 9 Titanium Tube is primarily composed of Ti-3Al-2.5V, with UNS R56320.Grade 9 titanium is a high performance, low density titanium alloy containing aluminium and vanadium which is significantly stronger than the alloyed but poorly malleable and susceptible to corrosion industrial pure titanium, and still is ductile, corrosion resistant and has a very high strength to weight ratio making it ideal for use in tube products. ASTM B338 is the standard specification for seamless and welded titanium pipe in Grade 9.
Grade 9 belongs to the alpha titanium alloy system, which has good cold working performance and ductility. For high demand applications such as aviation hydraulic pipelines, it is necessary to further confirm the corresponding aviation material standards and customer technical specifications.Grade 9 grades are not sufficient to ascertain whether the product is suitable for final usage requirements.
