ERTI-2 Titanium Wire is an industrial pure titanium welding wire, useful for welding industrial pure titanium workpieces. Introduction of specs and features Specifications · Chemical Composition: ERTI-2 welding wire is considered industrial pure titanium, but its oxygen content is usually kept low (for example ≤0.15%) in order to keep the welded joint's toughness. The exact composition may differ slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer but the principal ingredient is titanium (Ti) and the concentration of impurity elements (for instance iron, carbon, nitrogen etc) are tightly regulated.



· Diameter Specifications: Usual diameters are 1.6mm, 2.0mm, 2.4/2.5mm, 3.0/3.2mm, etc., You can choose them according to the thickness of the base material to be welded and under conditions of welding process. For instance, 1.6mm or 2.0mm diameter welding wire is used for welding thin titanium tubes or plates; a 3.0mm diameter welding wire is sometimes necessary for thicker structures to obtain better deposition efficiency.
· Packaging form: Usually packed in coiled form, the length and weight of each spool of wire differ according to customers' demand and the standard of production. The length is usually from thousand meters to tens thousand meters, and the weight is from tens of kgs to hundreds of kgs.
