Compared with Grade 1, its oxygen content is increased to ≤ 0.25% and iron content is ≤ 0.30%, forming a better balance between corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. This flat wire is made through multiple precision cold rolling and annealing processes, with a rectangular cross-section, a thickness range of 0.1-3mm, a width of 2-100mm, a thickness tolerance of ± 0.01- ± 0.1mm (high-precision level can reach ± 0.005mm), a width tolerance of ± 0.05- ± 0.5mm, a surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.15 μ m after electrolytic polishing, a tensile strength of 345-450MPa, an elongation rate of ≥ 18%, and a density of 4.5g/cm ³. While maintaining lightweight, its hydrogen embrittlement resistance and crack corrosion resistance are significantly better than Grade 1, and it complies with international standards such as ASTM B265 and ISO 5832-2.

In terms of application scenarios, Grade 2 titanium flat wire has become a core material for new energy and heavy industry due to its stronger corrosion resistance and industrial adaptability.
