Titanium Grade 5 Round Bar is a classic medical and industrial dual-purpose titanium alloy round bar conforming to the ASTM B348 and ASTM F136 dual standards, with Ti6Al4V as the material. It is the most widely used and well-balanced structural-grade titanium material on the market. While Grade 5 lacks the excellent biocompatibility of Grade 23 low-interstitial SITI, it does have high strength, good wear resistance and cost-effective, which makes it suitable for a range of applications such as industrial precision parts, general medical devices, chemical corrosion protection, and aerospace hardware, etc and it brings best adaptability.

The basic grade of ASTM Grade 5 has a more stable alloy composition which has elevated tensile strength, shear resistance, fatigue resistance and acid/alkali corrosion resistance. Its mechanical strength is more than 40% higher than that of pure titanium grades such as Grade 1/Grade 2, making it stiffer and more resistant to deformation. In contrast to the high-quality Grade 23, it has lower cost of manufacture and far more stable supply, that makes it perfect for large scale batch production. The material has such a dense internal structure that even secondary machining such as turning, milling, forging and bending will not expose pores. Its surface can be pickled, polished and anodized, so that in actual production APPLICATION is more complete.
