1. Core Specifications
The diameter of pure titanium wire covers a traditional range of 0.01mm to 5.0mm, and special sizes of 0.008mm to 10mm are also available. It meets the ultra-fine requirements for micro medical devices while also accommodating medium to coarse specifications for industrial equipment.The tolerance on the diameter is tightly controlled from ±0.001mm (ultra fine specifications) to ±0.02mm (medium to coarse specifications) to guarantee lot uniformity in automated assembly lines. The surface roughness (Ra) ≤0.3μm, the acid pickling is standard to remove oxide scale. Mirror polishing (Ra≤0.1μm) or passivation treatment can be customized and also applicable for laser welding and electroplating as subsequent processes.In terms of mechanical properties, the tensile strength ranges from 240MPa to 450MPa depending on the specification, with an elongation of ≥18%, balancing strength and the requirements for bending, winding, and other forming processes.
2. Characteristics of Mainstream Grades
The entire sheathing is made of industrial standard GR1 and GR2 Pure Titanium, to accomodate diverse needs.
GR1 Pure Titanium Wire: It has maximum corrosion resistance and biocompatibility with ≥ 99.5% titanium content and very low impurity content (Fe, O). High flexibility combined with good processability makes it suitable for applications under strict purity requirements, for example medical implants (such as surgical suture, cardiac stent leads) and food-handling articles;GR2 Pure Titanium Wire: With ≥99.2% titanium content, it has higher tensile strength (345MPa-450MPa) than GR1 and also is more cost effective and provides super corrosion resistance in industrial areas. It is suitable for industrial applications such as electronic connectors and marine exploration equipment wiring, balancing performance and procurement costs.


3. Core Application Advantages
1.Unrivaled Corrosion Resistance: In air, in water and in mild acid/alkali solutions, it produces a stable oxide film without rusting and ion leaching. Its life-span is 3-5 times of stainless steel wire, which can be used in humid and multi-medium electronic, marine applications.
2.Medical-grade biocompatibility: GR1 is safe, non-allergenic and non-toxic and can be maintained in long-term contact with human tissue without inducing any sort of rejection, thus it is the default material option for medical implant wires.
3.Light Weight and Excellent Processing: Since its density is only 4. 51g/cm³ which is 43% less than of steel, and its elongation is more than or equal to 18%, it can be drawn into ultra-thin wire and can be made into complex shaped products through winding which means, it can be used in small/micro devices.
