Titanium alloy wire, as a core wire product in the deep processing of titanium alloys, stands out with its "high strength + lightweight" competitive edge. Fully compliant with international standards such as ASTM B863 and ISO 5832, it serves the global aerospace, medical implant, and high-end equipment manufacturing sectors. Its performance far surpasses pure titanium wire and traditional stainless steel wire, enabling stable service in extreme environments like high/low temperatures and strong corrosion. It is a key wire solution for addressing the "structural load-bearing + weight reduction and energy efficiency" demands of high-end equipment, earning widespread recognition from international clients.

The core specifications of titanium alloy wires cover diverse application scenarios, with a standard diameter range of 0.1mm to 10mm. Special sizes from 0.05mm to 15mm are also available for customization, suitable for applications ranging from miniature medical implants (e.g., 0.1mm ultra-fine guide wires) to large aerospace structural components (e.g., 10mm support wires).

Diameter tolerances are precisely categorized by specification: ultra-fine sizes (≤1mm) are controlled within ±0.002mm, while medium-coarse sizes (>1mm) are ±0.02mm, ensuring precision for automated assembly.
Surface treatments include three options: pickling (Ra≤0.4μm), mirror polishing (Ra≤0.1μm), and sandblasting (Ra=1.6-3.2μm), accommodating subsequent processes such as welding and electroplating.
Mechanical properties vary significantly by grade:
- GR5 (Ti-6Al-4V) exhibits tensile strength of 860-960MPa and elongation ≥10%.
- GR9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V) achieves tensile strength of 480-620MPa and elongation ≥15%.
The entire series complies with EU CE and US FDA (medical implant-grade) certification requirements.
Titanium alloy wires primarily feature two major grades, GR5 and GR9, tailored to meet diverse strength requirements. GR5 titanium alloy wire, containing 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium, is the most widely used high-strength grade, with tensile strength 2-3 times that of pure titanium wire. It boasts an extreme temperature resistance range of -253°C to 600°C and exceptional fatigue resistance, making it ideal for applications requiring long-term load-bearing and stability, such as aerospace (e.g., aircraft control system wiring) and orthopedic implant scenarios (e.g., artificial joint fixation wires). GR9 titanium alloy wire, with lower aluminum-vanadium content, offers superior machinability compared to GR5, enabling complex bending forms. Its corrosion resistance approaches that of pure titanium, making it more suitable for scenarios requiring both strength and formability, such as medical catheter guidewires and marine exploration equipment connections.
The application advantages of titanium alloy wire are particularly prominent in high-end fields. With a density of only 4.51g/cm³, it is 43% lighter than steel. However, the GR5 grade exhibits strength comparable to high-strength steel, significantly reducing equipment weight (e.g., 20%-30% weight reduction for aerospace components) and improving operational efficiency. Its ability to withstand extreme environments far surpasses that of pure titanium wire. GR5 maintains strength at high temperatures up to 600°C and resists corrosion in seawater and acidic media, making it suitable for complex scenarios such as marine engineering and chemical equipment. Medical-grade GR5 and GR9 titanium alloy wires boast excellent biocompatibility, are non-allergenic, and can form osseointegration with human bone tissue, offering a service life of over 10 years. These properties make them the preferred choice for orthopedic and dental implantation wires.
In terms of quality and service assurance, every batch of titanium alloy wire undergoes tensile testing, fatigue testing, and salt spray testing. We can provide SGS/ISO-certified reports upon request to ensure traceable quality. We support small-batch customization with a minimum order quantity as low as 0.3kg and also offer cut-to-length services. Partnering with international logistics providers such as DHL and UPS, we can deliver to major global markets within 3-10 days, while also providing complete customs clearance documents including commercial invoices and packing lists to facilitate efficient procurement for clients. For further collaboration, we can generate a performance comparison table of titanium alloy wire grades or a technical white paper on medical implant-grade materials, enabling clients to showcase product differences or advance project cooperation.
