Grade 2 Titanium Strip is a commercial pure titanium strip, corresponding to UNS R50400, commonly produced and accepted according to ASTM B265 standard. Compared with titanium alloy, Grade 2 has good plasticity, ductility, and welding performance, as well as good corrosion resistance. Therefore, it is widely used in situations where material formability and corrosion resistance need to be taken into account. ASTM B265 covers strip, plate, and sheet products of titanium and titanium alloys, and specifies requirements for chemical composition and related properties.
Grade 2 Titanium Strip can be processed by rolling to obtain different thicknesses and widths, and can also be divided or cut to length according to subsequent processing requirements. Its excellent cold working performance enables it to meet processing techniques such as stamping, bending, and forming.
