Grade 7 titanium wire (UNS R52400) is a titanium palladium alloy wire that complies with ASTM B863 standard and contains 0.12-0.25% palladium element. The addition of palladium significantly enhances the corrosion resistance of titanium in strong reducing acid environments, making it a specialized titanium alloy wire for strong corrosion conditions. The product comes in two forms: coiled wire and straight wire, and is readily available in stock. Grade 7 titanium wire with added palladium element has much better corrosion resistance than pure titanium and Grade 12 titanium material in reducing acidic media such as hydrochloric acid.
